Pimpri is a suburb located in the area of Pune. It is under the Metropolitan area. The area comprises of the twin towns of Chinchwad and Pimpri that are administered by the Municipal Corporation or the PCMC. It is situated towards the northwest of Pune and is connected to the heart of the city via the old - Highway.
